Galway Downs by Wedgewood Weddings

We have photographed wedding at Galway Downs multiple times over the past few years, and we love the opportunity of working here! The venue is spacious enough to not feel crammed together but not at all too big to feel like it takes a long time to walk from one area to the next. With the fields, trees, the pond and countless other areas, great photo opportunities are only steps away. We are looking forward to photographing here again! ig @_themcfarlands_

My husband and I got married at Galway Downs on October 10, 2022. We had an amazing time and the wedding was beautiful. Mazie was our day of coordinator, she was great and very sweet. All of our guests talk about how beautiful and how much fun our wedding was. Most said it was the best wedding they have ever been to. We do wish that the wedding was a bit longer for the reception. The day goes by very quickly, so we wish we had an extra two hours or so for the reception to enjoy with our loved ones. PS. do not book florals through A Family Tree Florist, I had the worst experience. My bouquet came wrong the day of 3 times. I settled for the last bouquet they brought but ended up using leftover floral from the ceremony arch decoration as my bouquet.

This venue is magical. We did photo and video to document a wedding here and the grounds were so perfectly laid out so as to position the bride and groom in a place where they wouldn’t see each other. The inside of the venue was so open, modern and somehow a touch of rustic that isn’t overwhelming. I could say more, but I am going to let the photos speak instead. UPDATE** We have had the privilege to shoot multiple weddings here and have been impressed both times with the venue itself and the staff. It has been a lovely experience every time!

Wedgewood Weddings Galway Downs location, truly exceeded all expectations. From the moment we stepped onto the grounds, we knew this was where we wanted to be married. The beautiful landscape and elegant building structure provided a stunning backdrop for our special day. What truly set Galway Downs apart was the impeccable service we received from the staff. WE CANNOT SAY ENOUGH GREAT THINGS ABOUT AUSTIN. He went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect and helped ease our minds throughout the stressful wedding day. My bride forgot the pinecones she had collected to help decorate the tables and he went out to Hobby Lobby and purchased them so we that would have them. The rest of the team at Wedgewood Weddings was not only professional but also incredibly attentive to every detail, ensuring that our celebration ran seamlessly. The banquet captain, Amanda Jo, was very communicative and helped us keep the pace of the wedding what we wanted, giving us extra time to eat and even brought out a tray of specially made appetizers for my bride that she really loved. Their dedication and expertise allowed us to relax and fully immerse ourselves in the joy of the moment. The venue itself offers a perfect blend of sophistication and charm. The well-maintained grounds, greenery and the beauty of the surrounding equestrian grounds added an extra layer of magic to our wedding. Whether indoors or outdoors, every corner of Galway Downs exuded a romantic ambiance that our guests raved about. In conclusion, Galway Downs is more than just a venue; it's an experience. Our wedding day was elevated to a level of perfection that we hadn't imagined, and we owe much of that to the incredible team (especially Austin and Amanda Jo) and the breathtaking surroundings. If you're seeking a venue that seamlessly combines elegance, attentive service, and natural beauty, Galway Downs is the ideal choice for your celebration. Five stars simply don't seem enough to convey our gratitude and satisfaction. P.S- did I forget to mention something about Austin? He was the BEST!

My sister's wedding was held here just recently. By all means, this place hosted the best wedding I've ever been to my entire life. Given that I've never been an actual participant at a wedding, the event coordinator did an amazing job telling me what the heck I was supposed to do and when. The food, too, was shockingly good. Never been served such great food at a wedding. Usually I'm expected relatively tasteless food, but galway served generous portions with fantastic flavor.

Galway Downs by Wedgewood Weddings made our wedding day so incredibly perfect. I used to work for Wedgewood Weddings in Carmel before I moved out of state-and let me just tell you Wedgewood Weddings in general is an amazing company with great people from the top to bottom. I have met some forever friends there - many of which attended my wedding! Needless to say when it came to planning my wedding I knew the easiest, lowest stress, most bang for my $$$ place and that was Wedgewood without a doubt. Not a wedding venue I’d rather give my business to. Ever since I worked with Wedgewood I have fantasized about a wedding at Galway Downs in Temecula, CA- it is just one of the most beautiful and magical properties. ever. - and all my guests would agree the property, staff, food/beverages were nothing shy of that magic. I first spoke with Mikayla in the sales office and met her for my first official property tour. We clicked right from our first call and you could just feel her genuine energy and care in what she was doing. On my wedding day my two coordinators were Ashley and Kylie and they did an amazing job of making my husband and I feel so special and taken care of. Not only that my bridal party was 20 people not including Aaron and I HA! So wrangling everyone deserves more than high praise!! Later in the night we were introduced to our banquet captain, Chris, he was a rockstar! His transition from Ashley & Kylie was seamless. All throughout the night he always found the time to come talk to us and take care of all our needs. Above and beyond from him. Even our guests appreciated & noticed how thoughtful and helpful Chris was! Our bartender, Steve, was also a big hit! An open bar is always going to be a crowd pleaser (& included in the packages-my guests couldn’t believe that….) but back to the point lol… Steve got high praise from everyone I spoke with after the wedding and got lots of “Steve was the man!” lol. Finally compliments to Galway’s chef + kitchen team every.single.person I talked to said it was hands down the best wedding food they have ever eaten. Being on the other side of things I know how much effort can go into weddings and this team brought their all and made us feel truly special. I also need to take a second to thank the Galway vendors…. +Sheila from Soiree floral was incredible- super sweet and really understood my vision. I planned my wedding from out of town with little knowledge of the Temecula area but on our day seeing all my flowers & candles I was in awe and they smelled incredible as well. They are definitely a major show stopper in all my wedding photos. +Kathy from Bocakes was super accommodating- I did a taste testing day with my mom and we were shocked by how many flavors we could pick from. The cake was so yummy- my only wedding regret was not eating more of it haha…so make time for cake! Once again, thank you Mikayla, Ashley, Kylie, Chris, Steve, Sheila, Kathy, (& Tori Stewart, Torey Wise, and Central Coast Entertainment team from Wedgewood Weddings in Carmel for traveling for me) from the bottom of our hearts. I also want to say sorry for the delay in this review but I needed to make sure I had all my wedding photos to really illustrate how AMAZING this day was. My words still cannot cover it but for any brides looking for the perfect venue I am telling you from being the wedding planner myself to being the bride Wedgewood Weddings and more specifically Galway Downs is no joke !! Hair & Makeup I know can also be hard to find if you are not familiar with the area but I did my research - @kylastuart_makeup & @bstyleshair traveled in (not too far) and did the best job.
